Greg Schmitt joined Silverman Consulting in 2017, bringing over four years of public accounting experience, including audit, accounting advisory, and financial due diligence services.

At Silverman, Mr. Schmitt assists clients with cash flow forecasting, turnaround management, financial modeling, and refinancings. Additionally, Greg has experience selling both healthy and troubled companies through normal and 363 processes. Greg has worked with companies in many different industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, staffing, telecommunications, and the medical industry.

Prior to joining Silverman Consulting, Mr. Schmitt worked at KPMG, where he was a senior associate in the advisory practice in Chicago. His project experience included buy and sell-side services, IPO’s, and carve-outs. Mr. Schmitt also worked as a senior associate within the audit practice at KPMG.

Mr. Schmitt is a CPA (inactive) in Illinois and holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from Indiana University – Bloomington. In his spare time, Greg enjoys exploring the city with his wife and daughter, hiking, and cooking.
